Introducing Luna Isabella Ceja Swedelson born 6/10 weighing 6 lbs 10 oz. We found out our little βLuna Bellaβ was going to be a girl during a beautiful full moon on my birthday. She has a full head of hair and has captured our hearts forever. What an amazing journey!

New life, new love, new adventure awaits us as parents to be. Itβs our responsibility to teach and guide our daughter well. From this emotional, impactful, dark and educational week comes crucial life lessons. We can all do better and she will be stronger because of all of this.

New normal, wine country drive by baby showers! Our original baby shower might not have gone as planned due to Covid-19 but this past weekend's drive by baby shower at our Ceja Vineyards Napa estate exceeded all expectations and was simply unforgettable - a wine country drive by masterpiece.
It was the most unique and special experience to celebrate our little lady and it turned out to be such a beautiful day filled with love, familia + friends. A special thank you and shout out to my cousins (besties): BelΓ©n and Ellie Ceja + my MIL for making magic happen. The citrus themed shower was perfect and appropriate in every way (when life gives you lemons, make lemonade!). From the creative planning, decor, Cookies by Jenn + Ceja Vineyards rosΓ© party favors, florals, games, signs, balloons and set up crew (Griselda, Monica, Pablo, Stephen, Isa, Alina & Martha).
Everything was stunning. Our hearts are so full! Baby girl is beyond lucky to have a tribe that loves her so much already. I hope this brings a little sunshine and happiness to your week.

When life gives you lemons⦠make lemonade!
I woke up today feeling bittersweet. Today was supposed to be my baby shower in Napa hosted by my loving parents and Swedelson grandparents-to-be. My MILβs had created beautiful custom paper invites and organized a stunning citrus baby shower themed party, while my mom had organized an amazing paella feast for all guests attending.
Due to Covid-19 and the shelter in place travel restrictions, we had to postpone the event and opted for an alternative βdrive by paradeβ baby shower celebration next month (having to get creative and work out how to continue celebrations has been an interesting experience. Post coming after). This summer we plan to host a GRAND Sip' and See fiesta after she is born at our Ceja Napa Estate, which will prove to be a joyous occasion for everyone (hoping that SIP restrictions will be lifted by then). The health and safety of all our familia and friends are most important. We want to make sure everyone feels comfortable and relaxed to travel to Napa once these challenging times have passed.
In the beginning, when all of the SIP restrictions were put into place, I found myself feeling robbed of being a first time pregnant mama and was saddened by all of the experiences I would be missing out on. However, now I feel grateful and uplifted with the fact that I even have the opportunity to welcome a baby into this world and will cherish her life more than anything else. I know events, celebrations and gatherings will always be hosted at some point. Now, Iβm just focused on getting ready for the little lady and creating a healthy and safe place for her to be raised in, especially during the first chapter of her life.
My husband continues to entertain my weekly bump pictures which gives me an excuse to get dressed up, put on makeup and feel semi-normal. Today marks 33 weeks for me... baby girl, youβre almost here! Itβs the little things that spark joy for me. I hope other expecting mamas can find pleasure in the simple things in life right now. Sending love your way.
